About Colorado Fibromyalgia Center
Colorado Fibromyalgia Center (CFC) traces its roots to clinical research performed at Northwestern Health Sciences University on the multidisciplinary treatment of fibromyalgia. In 2005, the results of this research led to the formation of a comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment approach centered around managment of the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, management of symptoms through the use of medical managment and hands-on therapies, and dietary and lifestyle modifications.
In 2006, Colorado Fibromyalgia Center was founded as a branch of a nationwide chain of clinics specializing in fibromyalgia. After operating under this entity for 18 months and having advanced our treatment guidelines as research advanced, Colorado Fibromyalgia Center became independent in 2008. Since this time, CFC has become nationally recognized and widely respected for the treatment of fibromyalgia. As cutting-edge research advances, so to do treatment guidelines at CFC.
