Colorado Fibromyalgia Center - Better For Life.
Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Medicine has proven to be one of the safest, most effective treatments for fibromyalgia.  Due to chemical sensitivites, over 85% of fibromyalgia sufferers suffer side effects from allopathic medications.  For this reason, naturopathic medications have become the chosen method of normalizing hormone imbalances, eliminating infections, decreasing chemical sensitivities, and relieving anxiety and depression.

Dr. Denise Clark graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 1985 and from Bastyr University with a doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine in 2002.

In addition to treating fibromylagia and chronic fatigue, she is passionate about helping women and children overcome a variety of health conditions, including hormone imbalances, allergies, skin problems, digestive disorders, depression, anxiety, and weight loss. She combines her knowledge of herbal medicine, homeopathy, therapeutic nutrition, and Ayurvedic medicine to individualize her treatment plans.

In her previous career she worked as a manager for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for 20 years. Some of that time was spent managing the clean up of hazardous waste sites in Colorado. During that time she also served as the regional and national chair of Women in Science and Engineering, a group that promotes women in their careers as scientists/engineers and inspires young girls to consider science/engineering as a field of study.

As a typical Boulderite, Dr. Clark loves outdoor activities, such as, skiing, hiking, running in the foothills, and bicycle riding. She usually is pursuing these with her husband Dick and yellow lab, Sam.
